GIPSY's history is fundamentally about family, passion, and teamwork.
Sandra, an entrepreneur with both a global outlook and a deep attachment to her roots in Normandy, and Stephen, creative and cosmopolitan, form a couple both in the workplace and in life, as they share a passion for the universe of toys and plushed animals.
Both coming from families of entrepreneurs, Sandra and Stephen have always wished to work together in a company of human scale, following their parents' footsteps. In 2002, they decide to take over the family business. Their complamentary personalities and ambitions allow GIPSY to regain momentum. Stephen, who always has an eye on the latest trends, imagines and draws new concepts with his attention to detail and adorable designs. WIth her training in marketing techniques, Sandra puts all of her communicative energy at the service of these new creations.
Sandra and Stephen's objective was to make the spirit of GIPSY last by keeping their team as close as possible to the customers and by surrounding themselves with passionate and talented people.
Very quickly, their products find success and GIPSY becomes one of the French leaders on the plush toy market. GIPSY now exports its "French Touch" to over 40 countries.
